I am Lt Commander Siddhartha Mandava (retd), a 2010 graduate of IIT Kharagpur. Post 10 years of service in the Indian Navy as warship designer, started natural farming as a passion on 10 acre ancestral land near Guntur, Andhra Pradesh in 2021. My initial goal was to grow nutritious rice for my family that is free from toxic chemicals.
Numerous friends and relatives tried the ancient varieties of rice grown at the farm and loved it instantly; they also felt improvement in their overall health. Many such friends expressed a desire to permanently switch to rice produced at my ancestral farmland, and this is how Siddha Annam was born. Today Siddha Annam inspires many local farmers and produces rice for its community of more than 25 families.
